Wildlife Rescue with Nature Trust
How knowledge of Malta's biodiversity can help reduce — and even reverse — human impacts on threatened wildlife species.
The Heritage Parks Federation — Din l-Art Ħelwa, Gaia
Foundation and Nature Trust Malta — invites schools to bring
students for a guided walk along the coast and inland toward
Manikata.
No subject requirements. The walk is a taster of the outdoors,
intended to instil environmental respect and arouse curiosity
about Malta's natural heritage. Special themes can be
requested — length and topics are adapted accordingly.
The route takes 2 – 3 hours and follows a circular path along
existing trails. Students should wear suitable shoes and bring
drinking water and a small packed lunch. A guide accompanies
every group, but overall responsibility remains with the
accompanying teachers.

Walks are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed if safety or enjoyment is compromised.
